Women OCP Uniforms & Women’s ACU OCP Uniforms

The New OCP Uniform deadlines are here for the Army and are approaching quickly for Air Force personnel. The ACU and ABU uniform pattern change comes on the heels of years of uniform testing and military personnel feedback. With the evolution and expansion of women’s roles in the Armed Forces and the increasing number of female soldiers, the need to have combat uniforms that fit correctly has become a priority for the industry’s top brands.

In certain situations, access to women's OCP uniforms may not be readily available. In these cases, women soldiers must use sizing charts to help determine which size will work for their body structure. To assist women in the Army and Air Force with choosing their ACU or BDU uniform size Patriot Outfitters has created size and comparison charts for the ACU Coat and ACU Trouser, two key components of today’s required combat uniform.

OCP ACU-A Coat Size & Conversion Chart

By using the comparison and sizing charts, women in the military can find the perfect uniform from brands such as Propper and TRU-SPEC, which offer military-approved ACU coats and ACU pants.

One option for an approved OCP uniform coat for active duty is the Propper OCP ACU Coat. This Army uniform coat is sewn to military specification FQ/PD 14-04A. It also has felled seams throughout and is constructed from a 50/50 NYCO fabric. This fabric enhances durability, while the bi-swing back gives you an improved range of motion.

In addition to the Propper OCP line, TRU-SPEC features the OCP ACU pant. This ACU and ABU-approved pant, is made to current U.S. military specification GL/PD 14-04 using a permanent press, wrinkle resistant CL-8 50/50 CORDURA® nylon cotton vat dyed rip-stop material.

In addition to the new TRU-SPEC OCP pants, military personnel is required to wear OCP uniform-approved combat shirts, Army Boots, and department-approved headwear.
