i have this product as a tie down for my mbitr and dagger, and use it as a retention for my m-9 I would prefer not to have it on the pistol but can't risk losing a gun. the retractable lanyard is much beter than the telephone style cords. i havn't yet remove the velcro stap but i plan to to streamline the product i will ziptie it to my kit
