Non corrosive steel toes used in footwear to provide protection for the toe area. Meets or exceeds ASTM F2413–05 Standard for protective footwear.

Slip resistance or coefficient of friction is the most commonly used way to measure the relative slipperiness of footwear. Two of the more common testing machines are the James Machines and the Mark II.

Safety footwear provides workers who may come in contact with live circuits, wires or highly charged electrical equipment, a secondary source of protection from electrical shock because of the insulating properties that stop a current from being grounded for a certain length of time. Such foot protection is provided under dry conditions and the insulating properties will deterioriate in wet environments and with wear. These shoes must not be worn in areas where there is static discharge or micro–circuit hazards.
