The 4-Pocket BDU Coat is sewn to military specification MIL-C-44048G and features drain holes in the Bellows pockets, fused pocket flaps and collar, chest pencil pocket, two-piece double-reinforced elbows, felled side seams and sleeves, and adjustable sleeve buttons.


Battle Rip - 65/35 Poly/Cotton Ripstop

Tactical uniform fabrics must be comfortable, durable and have excellent color integrity. To achieve this criteria, Propper is proud to provide Battle Rip. This is an all-season weight, 65% polyester / 35% cotton fabric manufactured in a ripstop weave. Battle Rip is our fabric of choice for the public safety community.



60/40 Cotton/Poly Twill

This 60% cotton / 40% polyester, heavy weight cloth is also a very sturdy and long-life performer in the Public Safety community. Manufactured in a twill weave, this cloth promoted good color integrity and easy care.





50/50 Nylon/Cotton Ripstop

The military fabric approved throughout the Army is the 50/50 Nylon/Cotton Ripstop. This fabric is resistant to shrinking and is vat-dyed to ensure a minimal amount of fading over the life of the garment.



100% Cotton Ripstop

This is a lighter weight cloth in a ripstop weave that breathes well and is initially durable. Consistent with other cotton fabrics, the color will fade quickly, and over time the cotton fibers will lose their strength under industrial wear and laundering. If color integrity is an important end-user expectation, please do not choose this cloth.
Returns on account of color loss are not available.



65/35 Poly/Cotton Twill

This fabric is similar to our Battle Rip in terms of comfort, durability and color integrity. Also an all-season weight, 65% polyester / 35% cotton fabric in twill is available for this product in the MultiCam pattern only.
