Reebok made these tan combat boots specifically to Patriot Outfitters' design specifications. We looked at our best-selling boots and asked ourselves, "How can we make them better?" We listened to customer feedback and built this Patriot 1571 tactical boot to order.
Everything about the Patriot 1571 combat boots is lightweight from top to bottom. You have the advantage of a durable combat boot without the bulk weighing you down.
Starting from the bottom, the outsole is injected with EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate), a rubber foam that's both durable and light. The midsole contains a Lenzi ® plate which is a lighter substitute to the traditional steel plate, while still protecting your feet from punctures. In fact, nothing in this tactical boot is metallic. All of the outer fabric panels are made of either cattlehide leather or 1000 Denier nylon. These panels are designed to give you foot and ankle support, while keeping the tactical boot light.

With these boots, your feet enjoy comfort while going over rough and jagged terrain. All of the key elements that come in contact with your foot pads are shock-absorbent: the insert, upper sole, and outsole.
Cushioned — The removable insert is cushioned with an extra pad applied to the heel, giving your feet direct comfort.
Athletic — Directly underneath the insert is the upper sole, covered with strobe cloth as used in athletic shoes. Directly under that is 2mm of foam, adding to the shock-absorption.
Stable — The midsole's Lenzi ® plate (the white layer in the picture below) provides lateral stability over mountainous terrain. It helps keep your feet level over uneven surfaces. In doing so, it repels any extra shock due to impact on the ground.
Less Impact — With the outsole injected with EVA rubber, your boots have a good anti-vibration capacity. This means you feel less impact on your feet and legs. The rubber also has a good elastic memory, which shortens the break-in period.
There are two main things that protect your feet from sharp objects and potential punctures: the Lenzi® puncture-resistant plate and the EVA outsole. The Lenzi® plate is a multi-layer textile shield, so strong that it meets or exceeds the requirements of the ASTM F2413 Safety Standards.
Directly under the midsole is the outsole made from EVA rubber, a very strong compound that has a good resistance to laceration. With these two working together, your feet are safe and secure.
The EVA rubber outsole also protects you against slipping on wet or oily surfaces. This technology is water-repellent with good anti-skid characteristics. Include that with the traction design and lugs, and you have a combo of protection against slipping on rocks and sand. With these tactical boots, you have a good grip on the surface.
Keeps Out Moisture
The Reebok Patriot 1571 tan combat boots use a three-part combo in keeping out moisture: the inner lining, removable insert, and the medial ports.
Microban® Protection — The inner lining of the boot has an AEGIS Shield™, wicking moisture and protecting your feet from bacteria, fungus, and other microorganisms. These tactical boots have Microban® protection against odor, staining, and deterioration by microorganisms.
Air Vents — The removable insert has air vents under the arch and the balls of the feet where heat is generated the most. The insert also wicks away moisture.
Side Ports — Any hot air, excess moisture, or water due to water exposure is released from the medial side ports. These ports are strategically located near the air vents of the removable insert, and under a panel of water-resistant 1000D nylon. The openings of these ports are big enough to release heat and moisture while keeping sand and debris out.
The Reebok Patriot 1571 tan combat boots are durable. A hard shell surrounds the toe area, protecting your feet from frontal impact.
The laces are 550 paracord, strong enough to carry 550 lbs. These laces won't break, even if you need to use them for survival/emergency purposes.
The Lenzi® plate in the midsole and the EVA injected outsole are flexible to adapt to any maneuver or terrain. In addition, the outsole has a good resistance to abrasion and hot temperatures. High tack rubber (HTR) permanent adhesive is used on the heel and forefoot pads.
